Abstract

1430222 Thermal insulation ETABS DAMOIS FRERES 15 Feb 1974 [12 July 1973] 7026/74 Heading F2X An insulating cover for a hot water container 1 comprises an outer layer 8 of flexible material, e.g. polyvinyl chloride, lined with a layer 9 of flexible insulating material, e.g. expanded polyurethane with open cells, glass wool or mineral wool, the cover being in the shape of a hood having a crown and a side wall terminating in an aperture, the hood being composed of two symmetrical parts 3, 4 divided along an axial median plane and joined by a zip fastener 5. The embodiment illustrated also has an intermediate layer 10 of expanded plastics material, e.g. expanded polyurethane with closed cells. The lower edge of the cover is in the form of a hem 6 within which a ligature 7 is situated, the ends of which are arranged to be joined together so that the cover 2 completely encloses the container 1.
