Abstract
783,568. Kinematograph apparatus. CYCLOPTIC ANSTALT FUR OPTIK UND MECHANIK. June 10, 1955 [June 12, 1954], No. 16848/55. Class 97(1). The film is guided in a film gate by its margins only in channels disposed to produce a curvature of the film in transverse cross section. The curvature may be fixed or adjustable as in the form shown wherein the apertured plate 11 carries, on pivots 12, film guides 13 having projecting arms 14. The latter carry pivoted nuts in which are engaged oppositely threaded screws 15 by the rotation of which the inclination of the guides 13 may be changed. Co-operating guides 17 are pivoted at 19 to a spring urged frame 18. The film guiding members may be shaped to engage spaced regions only of each film margin.
