841,049. Photographic copying apparatus. EASTMAN KODAK CO. May 11, 1956 [May 13, 1955], No. 9338/59. Divided out of 841,046. Drawings to Specification. Class 98(1) Apparatus for moving a given length of photographic strip material past an exposure station consists of a film carriage with a chamber closed by a perforated plate against which the strip is held by suction, stripengaging means on the carriage, and means for moving the carriage and strip together past the exposure station, suction being applied through the chamber and the film engaging means being made operative before the carriage movement begins. A movable film carriage, a film perforator, film notching devices for indicating errors and for controlling a film processing apparatus, and a film clamping device are described, all identical with the corresponding parts of the photographic copying apparatus described in Specification 841,046.
