782,041. Capacitors. TELEFONAKTIEBOLAGET L. M. ERICSSON. Oct. 5, 1955 [Oct. 15, 1954], No. 28402/55. Class 37. A wound capacitor comprises metal foils 31, 32 separated by insulating layers 32, 34 and provided with metal-foil extension pieces 41, 42 so arranged that when the capacitor is completely wound the foils 41, 42 form terminal bands adjacent the two ends of the roll. Fig. 3 shows an assembly of such capacitors prior to its being encased and impregnated; the capacitors are all connected in parallel through the terminal bands of adjacent capacitors being in contact, without the provision of any further connection.
