Class 142(2) As a weft gripper 1 moves rearwardly, its pivoted jaw 9 is opened by a pin 13 encountering a ramp 49 on a spring-loaded arm 29. The fore-and-aft position of the ramp is adjustable by moving the pivot 25 of the arm along a slot 23, and its height is adjustable by a screw 43. Specification 744,491 is referred to.
