Abstract

779,764. Manure distributers. VAN DER LELY N.V., C. Oct. 19, 1954 [Oct. 22, 1953; Oct. 22, 1953], No. 30075/54. Class 6(1). [Also in Group XXX] A fertiliser distributer comprises a container 101, the outlet from which is controlled by a slidable member 121, a plate 113 in the shape of a trapezium and bars 124, 125, 130 carrying a series of parallel horizontal strips 131 which act as baffles. The rings 110, 111, 112 of eccentrics 104, 105, 106 are fixed to the underside of the plate 113 and the shafts 102, 103 of these eccentrics are connected by chain-andsprocket gearing so that they are driven synchronously. One of the shafts is driven from one of the vehicle wheels. The bars 124, 125 are secured to the wall 120 of the container 101 and connected by a cross-bar 126. This cross-bar is connected by an inclined bar 127 to the upper part of the container. The bar 130 is connected by a hinge to the cross-bar 126 in order that it can be turned to the vertical position. The narrow end 113A of the plate 113 is hinged to the main part for the same reason, Recesses 132 are formed in the plate 113 under each of the baffle members 131. In a modification the plate 113 is formed with gutters extending in the longitudinal direction. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 721,955 [Group XXX].
