Abstract
778,867. Indicator boards. HORTON, W. G. Dec. 23, 1955 [Jan. 21, 1955], No. 1915/55. Class 118 (1). [Also in Group XVIII] An indicator board comprises a base-plate 30, Fig. 8, of magnetic material and a series of panels 31, 32, 33 which are secured thereto by magnetic means for relative longitudinal movement with regard to one another and are slotted to receive symbols such as described for example in Specification 465,800. The panels may be vertically mounted on the base-plate (see Fig. 9, not shown), and may be provided with a hooked end 36, Fig. 10, for slidable engagement with a rail. Each panel may constitute a permanent magnet or may be made of aluminium and have at least one magnet riveted thereto. The panels may be interconnected by releasable fastenings such as U-shaped clips (see Fig. 7, not shown), and may be plain or provided with one or two sets of flanges. Again the panels may be provided with cruciform slots as described in Specification 754,148 and the base-plate may be flanged and provided with cut-away corners (see Fig. 1, not shown). Specification 730,158, [Group XVIII], also is referred to.
