Abstract
778,634. Hair driers. PRUITT, H. M. March 14, 1956, [March 16, 1955], No. 7613/55. Class 81(2) [Also in Groups XI, XIII and XXXV] A motor for driving domestic appliances has its shaft extended at both ends with a fan on one extension and an electric heater is mounted in one end cover. When the heater A<SP>3</SP>, Fig: 1, is switched on, the fan a<SP>2</SP> blows hot -air out of the aperture a<SP>4</SP> and this may be. used for hair drying or as a bed warmer (Fig. 2, not shown). When the heater is inoperative other devices may be fitted to either.shaft end, Fig. 3, indicating how a larger fan may be coupled to the shaft end remote from the heater. The motor may be vertically and/ or angularly adjusted on a wall or standard or may be floor mounted.
