Abstract
776,291. Transformers and inductors; electric coils. ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO., Ltd. Aug. 26, 1955 [Aug. 31, 1954], No. 25220/54. Classes 35 and 38 (2). A tapped magnetizing winding 11 for an electrical apparatus is formed by winding a plurality of conductors simultaneously-either in the form of a multicored flexible cable or a prefabricated ribbon containing a number of strands suitably insulated as shown in Fig. 2-the opposite ends of different conductors being connected together to form a continuous conducting path, a tapping being arranged at at least one interconnection between the ends.
