Class 99(1) In a modification of the pipe bend of Specification 770,413, arcuate deflecting surface 1 is provided at the inlet end only of the straight reflection portion 1a of the wear-resistant member 5. The length of the straight portion 1a and the radius of curvature of the arcuate portion 1 are the same as defined in Specification 770,413 for a bend with arcuate deflecting surfaces at both ends of the reflection surface 1a.
