768,150. Key locks. BULL'S METAL & MARINE, Ltd. April 28, 1955 [July 2, 1954], No. 19503/54. Class 44. [Also in Group X] In a ship's window comprising upper and lower fixed panes and an intermediate slidable pane (see Group X), the sliding window 12 is lockable in a partly open position by means of a bolt 24 which is housed in a bore 26 screwed to an upright 1 of a main frame and extends through the latter, for projection into the selected one of a plurality of holes 25 drilled into the adjacent side of the sliding window frame 13. Within the bore 26, the bolt 24, loaded by a spring 30, has rack teeth 28 engaged by a pinion 29 which is drilled and slotted for engagement by a removable key, not shown, insertable into the side of the box 26 from the inside of the window.
