Abstract
767,261. Agricultural implements. CHARRUES MELOTTE SOC. ANON. July 20, 1954 [Jan. 29, 1954], No. 21175/54. Class 6(1). Relates to a tractor-drawn or tractor-mounted plough equipped with a bearing in which the beam is rotatable and which is rigid with a transverse draught bar the ends of which are connected to the lower links of the three-point linkage, and with a substantially vertical support or supports connected to the upper end of the linkage, and consists in forming the bearing, transverse bar, support or supports, and strengthening rods as a unitary structure. The transverse member 4 which can be in the form of a yoke and to the ends of which the lower two links of the three-point attachment are connected is braced by two rods 20 and 21 connected to the ends of the transverse member and to the rear of the bearing. Rods 22 and 23 from the ends of the member 4 also extend upwardly and terminate at the supports to which the upper link of the three-point attachment is connected. Two struts 24 connect the ends of the bearing to these supports 7. The rod of the supporting wheel which regulates the depth of the plough may also be made to slide through a box 25 cast on to the bearing 2. The device can be used in connection with the plough described in Specification 765,810.
