Class 8(1) [Also in Group XXXV] An electro-magnetically operated air pump comprises a pair of or integral permanent or electro-magnets G disposed between A.C. electro-magnets A, B. A member D mounted in rubber blocks H is secured to the magnets G and is attached to the operating member L of pumps J, K, which may comprise diaphragms on opposite sides of the member D. The pumps may be between the magnets G and the pivot H or on an arm extending on the opposite side of the pivot. One cylinder may be used to charge the other. The pump chambers may be tubes as described in Specification 761,793.
