A screw cap 3 for bottles, collapsible tubes &c., is retained against loss by a ring 5, to which it is pivotally attached by limbs 8, slidable and rotatable on the container neck the ring having internal screw threads to allow passage along the screw threads 4 of the container neck during assembly.
