Abstract

695,403. Stoppers &c. HEINEMANN, F. March 6, 1951 [March 6, 1950], No. 5393/51. Class 125(iii) A closure for tubes, bottles &c. has a hood or cap 1 integral with an annular part 2 which fits in a groove 4 in the neck of the container and which prevents loss of the stopper when removed from the container, the cap 1 and annular part 2 being made from flexible material such as indiarubber or elastic polymerisates of styrol, vinyl and acryl compounds and unsaturated hydrocarbons. The cap may be attached to the container by screwthread or bayonet joint and the opening 3 of the annular part 2 may have small teeth to grip such a thread on the neck instead of the groove 4.
