765,158. Pneumatic conveyers. HERMANNS, W. March 17, 1955 [Aug. 23, 1954], No. 7838/55. Class 78 (1). In devices for conveying material in dust or powder form along a channel 7 of the kind in which a hose 4, provided with air - permeable walls and supplied with compressed air, is disposed in the bottom 6 of the channel, the hose is flattened and contains a metal plate 5 of slightly smaller width than half the circumference of the hose. This plate may be of aluminium and may be coated with a synthetic resin varnish. The lower surface of the hose is rubberized to prevent air issuing therefrom. The upper surface of the plate may be provided with one or two ribs 8.
