Abstract

603,092. Containers delivering articles one or two at a time. CARLINE, J. G. April 17, 1945, No. 9625. [Class 66] [Also in Group XVIII] A container 10 for delivering articles e.g. steel balls or pills 17, one or two at a time, has a delivery neck 22 and an annular lip 16 in a resilient end or . diaphragm 12 so that when the neck is pressed e.g. against a flat surface, the end 12 is forced upwardly and the lip 16 stretched so that a pill, &c. passes into the neck and is left on the flat surface. A longer neck 22 allows two or more pills to be released at each pressing. The container may be wholly of natural or synthetic rubber &c., or metal, glass, or plastic, &c. may be used, and the end 12 bonded thereto or to a detachable threaded ring. The container is recharged through a slot in a resilient end 26. Flat articles may be stacked in a tube above the discharge opening; the tube may have a telescopic extension resting on the end 12
