Abstract

Articles of clothing that reflect heat radiation are made up from flexible sheet material metallised with aluminium 800-10,000 A.u. in thickness. The flexible sheet material may be paper, woven or knitted fabric. It may be of asbestos, may be impregnated with a flame-proofing composition, or coated with polyvinyl chloride. The aluminium may be applied by vapour deposition. Specifications 220,913 [Class 140], 446,943, 716,175 and 722,409 [all in Group VIII] are referred to.
