763,798. Making saws. GUSZSTAHLWERK WITTEN AKT.-GES. Jan. 21, 1955 [Jan. 23, 1954], No. 1974/55. Class 83 (2). [Also in Group XXIII] An inserted-blade saw is made by forming. apertures 2<SP>1</SP> close to the outer edge 4 of a blank 1 of soft resilient metal, securing close-fitting inserts 3<SP>1</SP> of hard cutting metal in the apertures by brazing or soldering and finally forming saw teeth by machining away portions of the blank and inserts. The inserts are preferably circular.
