762,026. Loading mine trucks. WETEKAM, H. J. June 3, 1954 [June 5, 1953], No. 16398/54. Class 78 (4). A hopper 1 moves beneath a line of boxes 12 to direct material discharged through the sliding bottom of the boxes to a train of trucks 8. The hopper is suspended by hooks 3, 4 from a wheeled carriage 2 running on rails 7 supported by clamps 6 from beams which also support pairs of rods 15 which engage brackets 14 on the boxes 12 to support them. A plate 10 for bridging the gaps 11 between trucks hangs beneath the arcuate hopper door 9 which may be closed by a fork mounted on the last truck 8 of a train of trucks moving in the direction of the arrow 16. The boxes 12 may be those for receiving the spoil in mining.
