761,207. Shuttering for concrete structures; walls. JOHANSSON, J. E. Nov. 8, 1954 [Nov. 13, 1953], No. 32321/54. Classes 20(2) and 20(4) A mould for casting walls comprises mould shutters 3, 4 connected in spaced relationship by tie rods 17, 18, and supported by mould beams 7, 8 each of which is provided with one or more tensioning members 9, 10 in the form of braces which are connected with means, such as screw actuated extensible members 11, 12, for adjusting the pressure on a portion of the beam located between its ends in order to determine and maintain a desired shape of the mould. Each beam 7, 8 is preferably of I-section or similar shape and any number of beams may be provided for eacn shutter. Horizontal cross bars 5 are provided between the shutters and the beams. The braces 9 and 10 may be braced laterally by means of struts on opposite sides of the braces extending from the adjusting devices 11, 12 to a horizontal cross bar 5. As described, the invention is used for the construction of a wall of a building having an external layer of porous building stones and an internal cast layer 2. The shutter 3 is arranged externally against the previously laid stone layer and the shutter 4 is spaced internally therefrom. The ties 17, 18 are passed through the shutters and the stones 1 from the in side of the building and are screwed into nuts 21, 22 non-rotatably attached to the ends of the brace 9. Nuts 23, 24 are screwed on to the ties 17, 18 on the inside of the building and distance pieces corresponding to the thickness of the moulded layer 2 are arranged at the tie rods.
