Class 117 [Also in Groups XXX] In a device for delivering articles singly from a loose mass of the kind comprising a bowl which is formed with a spiral track 7 on its inner wall and is supported as a free body to swing in an inclined arcuate path of movement by tuned cantilever springs mounted on a base that rests on resilient feet, the end of the track at the top of the bowl ends in an abrupt transverse plane 10 on which is mounted an extension track to carry the articles away from the bowl. Articles are retained on the track by inclining it. towards the wall of the bowl and at one point are constrained to move in single file by a clip 36 which extends over a part of the track. This clip extends through a slot in the wall and is secured to the outside of the bowl by screws 37. It is engaged by a screw 38 that is locked by nuts on each side of the wall of the bowl. The bottom of the bowl is hollowed at 4, 11 and is secured to a frame 19. This frame is supported by springs 17 mounted on a base 13 and is bolted to the armature 26 of an electromagnetic motor 23. The extension track may have opposed parallel channels which twist through 180 degrees to invert the articles fed from the bowl. Two tracks may be provided on the wall. These tracks are at equal distances apart at the bottom of the bowl, but are side-by-side at the top or at equal distances apart. In a modification three tracks are provided.
