Abstract
760,262. Cartons. SHIRLEY & CO., Ltd., R. L. March 22, 1955 [March 22, 1954], No. 8366/54. Class 18. A carton is strengthened by double thickness walls, the inner panels 10, 11 of which are joined at adjacent edges. The panels 10, 11 are scored at c to facilitate inward folding and have flaps 14, cut at d, which rest on the carton bottom. Parts 13 cut out of panels 10 support a display lid 7. The carton may be formed from a single blank as in Fig. 1, or walls 2, 3 and their panels 10, 11 may, with bottom forming flaps 5, 6, be a separate blank having two tabs joined to the rear wall 1. Where two blanks are used, extensions 15 are formed on the panels 10.
