[Also in Group XXX] The links of a chain for a double-chain scraper conveyer are shaped with a flat or shallow arcu. ate surface 12 to reduce wear on the chains and conveyer channels. The width of the surface 12 is narrower than the greatest width of the link section in a plane perpendicular to the median plane of the link. The width of the section in the median plane may be the same as the width in the perpendicular plane but is preferably greater since wear on the link occurs mainly at the surface 12.
