Abstract

A tuberculostatic agent is obtained by reacting a soluble hydrazone of isonicotinic acid hydrazide with formaldehyde, preferably in aqueous solution at temperatures of up to about 100 DEG C. The specified hydrazone is isopropylidene isonicotinic acid hydrazide. The constitution of the product is undetermined.
