756,135. Aircraft. ZBOROWSKI, H. P. G. A. R. VON. Nov. 17, 1954 [Nov. 19, 1953], No. 33247/54. Class 4. [Also in Group XXI] An aircraft provided with means for carrying and launching at least one missile, the aircraft and missile each having propelling means and a source of energy therefor, is characterized by means for connecting the missile propelling means with the aircraft source of energy, whereby, while the missile is carried by the aircraft, the missile propelling means may co-operate in the aircraft propulsion without consuming energy from the missile energy source. In Fig. 12, a pipe P detachably corrects the missile propelling means, e.g. a ram jet, with an aircraft fuel tank T. The missile 2 may be constructed according to French Specification 1,033,590, the fuel tanks T<SP>1</SP> thereof being in an annular wing. The aircraft may be as described in Specification 730,069, in which case two missiles may be carried in diametrically opposite positions inside or outside the annular wing. Illustrations are given of conventional aircraft carrying a missile at each wing tip, or one or two slung below the fuselage, or two beneath each wing.
