Abstract

747,543. Spray - producers. METALLGES. AKT. - GES. June 9, 1954 [June 26, 1953; July 4, 1953; Sept. 25, 1953], No. 16979/54. Class 69 (3). A casing 5 of insulating material houses a motor 7 which drives a cooling fan 8 and, through shafts 6 and 3, a disc 1 supplied with liquid via one or more pipes 16. The sprayed liquid particles are electrically charged by means of a high voltage applied to the disc via a cable 12, brushes 10, slip rings and the shaft 3. The disc is detachable from the shaft 3, and the direction of the sprayed particles from the disc on to an earthed article may be influenced by one or more high voltage wire electrodes 20, 21 adjustably mounted on the forward end of the casing adjacent the disc.
