The marginal portions 15 of the flanges 12 of metal shuttering panels of channel section lie at an acute angle of 15-20 degrees to the flanges so as to be open enough to prevent concrete being jammed there. The flange 12 may be at an angle of 85 degrees to the face 11 of the panel. Transverse stiffeners 16 are welded directly to base and flanges and have edges 20 bent over at about 15 degrees to the stiffener body. Specification 603,084 is referred to.
