Abstract

565,360. Building construction; units for roofs, walls, &c. HASLAMS (SHEET METAL WORKERS), Ltd., HASLAM, J. J., HASLAM, W., and WEBSTER, H. March 29, 1943, No. 5013. [Classes 20 (ii) and 87 (i)] A building construction unit for roofs, walls and partitions, comprises a flat-bottomed channel 5 of sheet metal, concrete, reinforced concrete or asbestos, &c., with one perpendicular edge 8 at one side and a perpendicular edge 6 turned over to form a narrow channel 7 at the opposite side, the edges 8 and channels 7 of adjacent units interengaging to form a rigid waterproof joint and strengthening rib. The units may be disposed horizontally or vertically and may have openings for glazing. Specification 3674/!5, [Class 20 (i)], is referred to.
