A hub for a wire-spoke wheel has a decorative drum 8 gripped between spoke-receiving flanges 5, 7 on the hub 1 to surround the same and has securing means permitting ready removal of the drum. As shown, the flange 5 is formed on a brake drum 4 welded to one end of the hub 1 and the flange 7 is detachably secured by screws 10 to a radial flange 9 welded to the other end of the hub 1. In a driving-wheel hub the screws 10 used to secure an internallytoothed ring 11 coupling the hub to a chain sprocket 13 may serve to secure the flange 7.
