Abstract

738,325. Tape dispensers. TIOX-TINTENUND KLEBSTOFFWERK GES. March 17, 1953 [March 20, 1952], No. 7398/53. Class 18. [Also in Group XV] In an adhesive tape dispenser the severing blade 1 is provided with an arm 2 having a bent portion, which when the dispenser is in use, presses the tape along its entire length on to the underlying object. To sever the tape, the container is turned over and moved in the unrolling direction, and the continuation of this movement causes the end of the severed portion to be pressed down by the curved surface 3. When not in use, the end of the tape is folded back beneath the container so that it adheres to the narrow bar 4, and to facilitate its detachment recesses 5 are provided in the container.
