736,269. Bearing pedestals. STAUB, H. K. Sept. 22, 1953, No. 26152/53. Class 12 (1). 17A plummer block has an aperture 2 in which is disposed a bearing 4 and a second aperture 6 extending parallel to the bearing axis in which a rod may be clamped for aligning two or more such plummer blocks. The clamping means comprise a suitably shaped cotter pin 7 which is disposed in a cylindrical boss 13 arranged transversely of the aperture 6, clamping being effected by screwing up a wing nut 14. Several such plummer blocks 20, 22 may be aligned by clamping them to a rod 31 as shown in Fig. 4.
