732,999. Universal joints. HOLLAND, J. R. Dec. 14, 1953 [Dec. 15, 1952], No. 31779/52. Addition to 694,437. Class 80 (2). The universal joint described in the parent Specification is modified by replacing each locating ball by a pin or stud 100 carried by the shaft fork, and engaged in the circumferential slot 14 in the spider arm 11. The stud 100 may, as shown, be adjustably screwed in a cover-plate 104 for the housing 2 containing the resilient bush 1, or it may be integral with a closed end of the housing 2.
