Abstract
730,914. Circular looms hose pipe fabrics. CHRISTIANSEN, C., and RUSCH, G. O. K. Feb. 3, 1953 [Feb. 4, 1952], No. 3089/53. Classes 142(2) and 142(4). To produce a hose with a twill weave, the warps are arranged in groups of at least three threads 9, 10, 11 and pass through corresponding heddles 12-14. The healds are operated by levers 15-17 pivoted at 22 and actuated by cams 18-20 on a shaft 21. Two groups of heddles may be operated from one shaft 21. Shafts 21, extending round the loom, may all be connected by universal joints and driven by one shaft 21. A shed opening frame 6, 7 rotates with each shuttle.
