Abstract

727,696. Kinematograph projection. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. Oct. 27, 1953 [Dec. 3, 1952], No. 30656/52. Class 97 (1). An inclined apertured mirror 1 intercepts the marginal portions of the beam from the projection objective 11 and reflects them through a condenser 2 past a mask 3. After reflection from a mirror 4 they pass through lenses 5 and 6 which form an image of the mask as a surround to the projected picture. A mounting 7 provides focusing adjustment of the lenses, the lens 6 being separately movable in a mount 10 for magnification adjustment. The lens system is also laterally adjustable by screws 8, and others perpendicular to them.
