Abstract

725,502. Draught excluders. MORRIS MOTORS, Ltd. July 25, 1953, No. 20705/53. Addition to 645,558. Class 20 (3). Means for sealing doors or windows against draughts, dust and the weather comprising a sealing element 1 integral with a supporting portion 2 which is laid within and embraced by a channel-shaped flexible retaining strip 3 of thin metal which latter embraces a metal flange 7 providing an abutment face around the door or window opening and which is secured in place by U-shaped anchoring clips 5 of spring steel which are pushed on the flange 7 and are formed with barbs 6 to grip the latter, the sealing element 1 consists of a trough-like flap of extruded soft rubber. The means for supporting portion 2 from the flange 7 is identical with that of the parent Specification. Specification 680,973 is referred to.
