Abstract

719,404. Cartons; container closures. GEE, H. L. March 4, 1953, [Feb. 8, 1952.] No. 3327/52. Classes 18 and 125 (3). A carton has an inset lid formed of metallic foil lined with paper and having a depending flange a<SP>3</SP>, the carton edge being gripped between the flange and the inset wall a<SP>2</SP>. The edge may be turned over for strength. The lid is heat sealed to the body. A tab (not shown) extending from a<SP>3</SP> assists opening.
