709,867. Baling presses. LINDEMANN, W. July 1, 1952 [July 11, 1951], No. 16586/52. Class 94 (1) A press box for a packeting or baling press has edges 3 of zig-zag or wavy form, as viewed in side elevation, for supporting the projecting material 4 which has to be cut off by the cover 1 and knives 5 disposed inside with their cutting- edges approximately on a level with the lowest points of the zig-zag or wavy edges 3. Knives 2 secured to the cover 1 co-operate with the knives 5. The knives 5 are held in position by clamping bars 6, having zig-zag or wavy projections 3, adjustably bolted to the sides of the box. A knife may also be provided in the side of the box opposite the cover edge.
