[Also in Group XIII] Paint is forced by compressed air from a container f through a tube i to a spray gun g, and is heated by heating fluid passing through an outer tube j. The heating fluid may be hot water or steam, and in the former case is pumped from a boiler, not shown, and fed through a tube b to a fitting k, and after passing through the tube j the water is delivered from a fitting q to a return tube r. From the latter the water passes via the fitting k and a tube e back to the boiler. The tube i may be flexible and of stainless steel, and the tubes r and j of rubber or the like.
