Abstract

676,966. Spray-producers. MACHINEFABRIEK KIEKENS N.V. Feb. 23, 1949 [Feb. 24, 1948], No. 4978/49. Class 69 (iii) [Also in Group XI] An atomizer comprises a nozzle 1 having one or more atomizing bodies 2 connected to the inner wall of the nozzle and directed towards its longitudinal axis, each body 2 having a liquid feed channel 6 terminating in an atomizing surface 4 extending from the nozzle mouth 5 at least as far as the outlet from the channel 6. The body 2 is streamlined, and the surface 4 is preferably flat, but may be curved. Gas is normally supplied through the nozzle, a pipe 3 in the channel 6 leading to a liquid supply.
