Class 132(3) Articulations for legs for dolls and the like comprise a pipe 12 extending between body discs 10, 11 which are secured to the body at the groins, and have eccentric apertures 13, a leg disc 16 in each leg having an arcuate slot 20, an intermediate disc 17 held in frictional engagement with the leg disc and having an eccentric aperture and a rod 14 pivotally mounted within the tube and extending through the slots and apertures. Each pair of discs 16. 17 is centrally apertured at 18 and rotates on a pin 19, Fig. 1, on each of discs 10, 11. The discs 16, 17 of each pair are frictionally held together by a leaf spring 21 secured by two eyelets 22 one passing through aperture 18 and the other passing through the aperture in the disc 17 and the slot 20 in the disc 17 and the slot 20 in disc 16. Thus, when the doll is made to walk, the leg and intermediate discs move together relative to their adjacent body disc but, when the doll is made to sit down, the leg disc moves relatively to the intermediate and body discs.
