Class 20(iii) [Also in Group XXIII] A door is made up of cross members 2 of the required contour attached to stiles 1 and intermediate bearer members 10 to form a frame, and facing elements 15, 16 are secured thereto with adjacent edges of the elements supported on a bearer member. A backing member 8 may be provided and the elements may be recessed or haunched into the bearer members. Preferably a bearer member is provided at each change of contour, and the facing elements comprise generally flat or moulded elements. The cross members and stiles are connected by tongue and groove joints.
