A. support for a catamenial pad comprises a pouched strip of waterproof material carried on a girdle and having means for securing the pad. The impervious strip 2 is pouched by means of elastic cords 4 and is secured to diametrical points on a waist band 1. It has ribbons 5 with buttons 6 or, alternatively, tape bands for locating the pad. Leg straps 8 supported on side straps 9 may also be provided.
