Abstract

A gas-turbine blade is made of a sintered hard alloy consisting of a solid solution of Cr carbide and Ti carbide, the Cr carbide forming 5-35 per cent of the solid solution, and one or more of the metals Fe, Co and Ni as auxiliary binder metal in amount from 10-60 per cent by weight of the whole composition.
