Class 5(ii) In poultry houses having a slatted floor 10 over a droppings tray 7, the nests 8 are placed at a level lower than that of the floor and approached from the floor by a ramp 13. In one construction, the slats of the floor may run parallel to the ridge, the side spaces except for the ramp 13 being occupied by cross-slats 14. In another construction, the central floor slats are transverse and separated from the individual nest boxes by a lower floor.
