Abstract

A coating composition for use in spray packaging comprises bitumen and neoprene in a volatile solvent, e.g. toluene. The proportion of bitumen to neoprene is preferably from 26 : 3 to 26 : 10. The bitumen preferably has a ring melting-point in the range 100-130 DEG C. The composition may contain a peptizing agent for the neoprene, e.g. the materials sold under the Registered Trade Mark "Vulcafor," as well as fillers such as asbestine, asbestos and mica.ALSO:A coating composition for use in spray packaging comprises bitumen and neoprene in a volatile solvent, e.g. toluene.
