Abstract
688,171. Animal carrying vehicles. RICE CARAVANS, Ltd. Dec. 7, 1951 [March 14, 1951], No. 6156/51. Class 108 (i). A horse-box for three animals comprises a body having sides 4 which are fixed and walls 5 one of which may be let down to form a ramp and the other containing an attendant's door 14. The lower half 10 of the back of the vehicle forms a loading ramp for the two forwardly facing animals. Partitions 28, 29 are angularly adjustable and pivoted to a removable pillar 16 which with a similar pillar 15 support the fixed partition 26. A breastbar 32 may also be provided and the partitions 28, 29 may be higher than partition 26.
