Abstract

682,566. Clocks and watches. KAADA, 0. Jan. 25, 1951, No. 1949/51. Class 139 A lever escapement is characterized in that the lever is provided' with impact pallets which co-act with the teeth of the escape wheel to limit the arc of oscillation of the lever. The lever 5 is provided with two additional pallets 3, each set on the same side of the adjacent impulse and locking pallet 1. There is therefore no draw to banking and the pallets 3 by engaging the surface 4a of the teeth 4 of the escape wheel 6 limit the extent of oscillation of the lever 5. Banking or stop pins 7 and 8 are provided in case shock produces excess movement of the lever 5.
