In its free state the side walls 45, 46 of the ring are radially inwardly diverging, the wall 45 in contact with the socket C being radially longer than the wall 46 engaging the spigot D and, as the outer periphery 42 of the ring engages the socket, it is held therein, its wall 46 being in rubbing engagement with the surface 27 of the spigot when swivelling occurs.
