Class 38 (v) A metal case for a switch, such as that of Specification 656,104, is formed in two parts, one part 14 housing the fixed contacts and terminals, and the other part 15 housing the movable contacts. The two parts are secured together by rods 17 fixed to part 14 and engaged by screws passing through holes 18 in the front part 15. An inspection door 20 is arranged to be obstructed by the switch-operating handle 11 when the switch is "on".
